Welcome to The Roamstead, where the views are big, the dirt is plentiful, and your original plan to “just stay one night” is no match for the tiny desert portal we definitely didn’t install.
The mission is simple:
Rest. Recharge. Get creative. Contribute. Leave it better than you found it.
Pick something up. Put something away. Improve the vibe. Become the person your campsite would write a thank-you note about.
Your dog is welcome. Their deposits are not. If it’s mystery poop, congratulations, the desert has chosen you for a tiny side quest.
The shop is magical, useful, and full of objects that deserve respect. Sign the waiver before you touch the spicy stuff.
Keep your goggles on, your fingers attached, and the tools back where they belong. “I swear it was right here” is not an organization system.
The building is the hang zone. The rest of the property is the chill zone. Late-night gremlin energy belongs inside. Outside, let the stargazers gaze and the sleepers sleep.
Stuff breaks. It happens. Secret broken stuff becomes a cursed side quest for the next innocent Roamer.
Be kind. Be aware. Be the reason someone thinks, “Dang, good humans really do exist.”
Stays are by personal invitation. Reach out with who you are, when you want to come, and what you want to work on.
